OIDC

We recommend using OIDC for Google Workspace integration.

  1. Go to Settings > General > Identity Provider.

  2. Click Activate Provider.

  3. Click on Google OpenID Connect.

When choosing this option, there are no additional steps to configure. The identity provider is now configured.


SAML

Below are the steps to create a Google Suite SAML application to use with CloudGen Access Enterprise Console.

Configure SAML

1. Got to SAML Apps.

2. Create a new application by selecting the yellow plus sign (+) and then SETUP MY OWN APP.

3. Get the custom application SAML configuration:

  • Take note of the SSO URL and the Entity ID.

  • Click Download to get the Certificate.

  • Select Next to continue.

4. Configure custom application: Insert the desired Name (for example: Enterprise Console). (Optional) Insert a description to identify the application.

5. Select Next to continue.

6. In this menu, the values will be used that were obtained from Step 2 in SAML Configuration:
Fill in the following:

  • ACS URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL)

  • Entity ID

  • Leave the remaining fields to defaults (as shown).

7. Select Next to continue.

8. Select Finish to complete the configuration.

9. Select EDIT SERVICE to configure permissions.

10. Select EDIT SERVICE to configure permissions.

11. We recommend setting ON for everyone. Otherwise, manually configure individual Organizational Units (OUs) allowed to use the application.

12. Use the values obtained to continue the Step 3 configuration in SAML Configuration:

  • Entity ID

  • SSO URL

  • Certificate
