This template includes:
KeyVault and strict Access policies to store Cloudgen Access Proxy token
Load Balancer with Public IP
Virtual Machine Scale Set stateless instances for the proxy services
- Unhealthy instances will be automatically replaced
- Currently limited to one instance, support for more will be added soonStorage Account to store logs from instances, files are automatically removed after 7 days
Before You Begin
Get a CloudGen Access Proxy enrollment link by creating a new CloudGen Access Proxy. Since there is still no value for Host parameters, insert a placeholder (e.g., temp.example.org
)
Deploy the CloudGen Access Proxy to Azure
1. Click Deploy to Azure.
2. Select the Resource group from the drop-down menu.
3. Paste the enrollment link into the Access Proxy Token field.
4. Select Virtual Network and Subnet.
5. Select the Instance Size.
(Optional) Enter an SSH Public Key to use for the Access Proxy Instances.
6. (Optional) Add Tags to categorize the resources.
7. Click Create.
After the installation, update the created CloudGen Access Proxy host with the CloudGen Access Proxy IP address obtained in the template output resource:
1. Go to Outputs and copy the ipAddress.
2. In CloudGen Access, replace the proxy Host address.
Click Save.
